The Union Public Service Commission commenced the UPSC CDS 2 2024 application process at the official website- upsc.gov.in. Interested and eligible candidates can go through the official notification and check the eligibility criteria before applying for the UPSC CDS 2024 exam.
The commission has also released the CDS 2 notification 2024 along with the CDS 2 application form. As per the schedule, the last deadline to submit the CDS 2 application form 2024 is by 4 June.

The UPSC CDS 2 2024 recruitment aims to fill a total of 459 vacancies.
Indian Military Academy 159th course: 100 vacancies (including 13 reserved for NCC ‘C’ Army Wing certificate holders Indian Naval Academy course: 32 (including 6 reserved for NCC ‘C’ Naval Wing certificate holders
Air Force Academy Pre-Flying Training course: 32 (including 3 reserved for NCC ‘C’ Air Wing certificate holders through NCC Special Entry
Officers’ Training academy's 122nd SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) course: 276 vacancies
Officers Training Academy's 36th SSC Women (NT) (UPSC) course: 19 vacancies
UPSC CDS 2 Exam 2024: Steps to apply
- Go to the official website- upsconline.nic.in
- Complete the OTR process
- Login to the UPSC CDS application window
- Fill in the application form and upload the required documents
- Pay the application fees and submit the form
- Download and take a printout of the form for future reference
Applicants must note that the CDS 2 application fee for the exam is Rs 200 for all the categories except SC/ST and female candidates which can be paid online through the portal.
