The wait is finally over for lakhs of students in West Bengal! The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will be declaring the much-anticipated results for the Madhyamik (Class 10) exams today, May 2. A press conference will kick off the announcement at 9 AM, with the results made available online at 9.45 AM. Students who appeared for the examination can access their scores on the official websites wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in.

The Madhyamik exam began on February 2 and concluded on February 12, 2024. The board recently completed the online marks verification for the exam’s answer sheets on April 18.

  • SMS Service: An SMS service will be provided on the number 56263 or 56070 for result inquiries. Students can send a text message in the specified format to the designated number to receive their results directly on their mobile phones.
  • Apps: The board also announced that the results can be accessed through mobile apps such as "Madhyamik Results 2024," "Madhyamik Result," and "FASTRESULT." Students can download these apps from their respective app stores for quick access to their results.
  • News Portals: Various news portals have also been listed by the board through which students can check their results - wb10.apblive.com, indiaresults.com, indianexpress.com, and others.

The WBBSE has established camps in various sub-divisions for mark sheet and certificate distribution. These camps will begin distributing documents from 10 AM onwards on May 2.

In 2023, a total of 5,65,428 students had passed the Madhyamik and the overall pass percentage was 86.15%. With East Midnapore being the top district with a pass percentage of 96.81, closely followed by Kalimpong with 94.13, and Kolkata with 93.75.
