Starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is the brainchild of Academy Award-winning director George Miller, marking his return to the dystopian world he first introduced over three decades ago. This standalone action-packed adventure promises to unveil the origins of the iconic character from the critically acclaimed Mad Max: Fury Road (2015).

Anya Taylor-Joy takes on the titular role alongside Hemsworth, with supporting performances by Alyla Browne and Tom Burke.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga outlines the journey of young Furiosa, plucked from the Green Place of Many Mothers and thrust into the clutches of the formidable Biker Horde under the command of Warlord Dementus. Amidst their trek across the Wasteland, they encounter the Citadel ruled by The Immortan Joe. As these two tyrants vie for supremacy, Furiosa must navigate a series of challenges while piecing together a plan to find her way back home.

Miller, in collaboration with Mad Max: Fury Road co-writer Nico Lathouris, crafts the screenplay. Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures, the film is helmed by Miller and his longtime partner, Oscar-nominated producer Doug Mitchell, under their Kennedy Miller Mitchell banner.
