Vikrant Massey and Mouni Roy’s Blackout to stream on JioCinema; see poster here

Also starring Sunil Grover, Saurabh Ghadge and Karan Sonawane, the upcoming film is helmed by debutante director Devang Shashin Bhavsar

The first poster for Vikrant Massey and Mouni Roy’s upcoming film Blackout, also featuring comedian-actor Sunil Grover, was dropped by the makers on Thursday.

Blackout marks the directorial debut of filmmaker Devang Shashin Bhavsar.

“Iss kahani ke sabhi patra ki life ke lag chuke hai…! Thoda detail me jaane ke liye just #WaitAndWatch,” 11:11 Productions wrote alongside the poster shared on Instagram.

In the poster, Vikrant and Mouni look shocked, while Sunil Grover holds a spade and smiles. Saurabh Ghadge and Karan Sonawane, on the other hand, sit inside a red car and look bewildered.

Fans flooded the comments section with their excitement over the upcoming film. “I'm very excited especially for Mouni,” one of them wrote. “Mouni, Sunil, Vikrant are the true examples of hard work that pays off,” another fan commented.

Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Niraj Kothari, Blackout is slated to stream on JioCinema from June 7. The film is written by Devang Bhavsar, Abbas Dalal and Hussain Dalal.

Vikrant is also set to star in The Sabarmati Report alongside Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. According to IMDb’s official synopsis, the film showcases the events that took place on Sabarmati Express near the Godhra railway station in Gujarat on the morning of February 27, 2002.

Mouni was last seen in the Disney+ Hotstar series Showtime alongside Emraan Hashmi and Naseeruddin Shah. Sunil last featured in Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 blockbuster Jawan.
