Petkar also holds the record of being India’s first Paralympic gold medalist. Luckily, we will get to finally witness this legend’s life on the big screen, in his upcoming biopic, Chandu Champion. Kartik Aaryan will portray Petkar in the film, and the recently released trailer promises a blend of heart-stopping action and raw emotion. The clip introduces viewers to Petkar’s childhood, where he was written off by his fellow villagers, his great contribution to the Indian army in the 1965 war against Pakistan, and his eventual sporting success.
